Stella McCartney has shown her support of our good cause by donating designer goodies, which will be part of a silent auction at the Winter Ball hosted at Birmingham Town Hall on Saturday 17th November. After a year’s rest, the ball is back and the team at Birmingham Women and Children’s Hospital Charity are excited to welcome their guests, new and returning. The glamorous evening includes a champagne reception, live entertainment, fine food and a charity auction with money-can’t-buy prizes.

Stella said:

I’m very fond of Noah and it’s a pleasure to support him and his Mum in their efforts to raise awareness of rare blood conditions through Funny Blood. I’m very happy to help and wish Ruby and her family and friends the very best in their efforts to help raise funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.

Serena Daw, Public Fundraising Manager at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital Charity, added:

We’re so thankful to Ruby and her on-going support for our charity and for raising an amazing £2,400 for us over the last four years. Not only has Ruby donated vital funds, which have gone on to support our Haemophilia Unit where Noah is treated, but now, Ruby has helped secure exciting prizes for our Winter Ball from friend and Funny Blood supporter, Stella McCartney.

Stella’s generous gift of designer clothes will be part of a silent auction on the night. The money raised will go towards our Critical Journeys Appeal which is now just £240k off its £2million target.

We’re delighted to have Stella’s support again and look forward to working with the Hospital to raise as many funds as possible to support its charity.
