Ruby has been busy supporting Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity with their new initiative at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Through her work with Funny Blood and her proactive involvement as parent, Ruby provided the initial introduction to Richard Piper, CEO of Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, and members of the team at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Carol Mullins, Trusts and Foundations Senior Fundraiser at BCH, is grateful of the introduction, which led to the successful projects, and said that “we’re really excited to be working with them [BCH] and can’t thank you enough for arranging the initial meeting.”
Richard Piper said:
“Children and young people with rare conditions need extra support to help them get the most out of everyday life. Our amazing Roald Dahl Nurses provide special care to help children and their family to cope with the emotional impact, as well as the physical impact, of their condition. They also help ensure children have their voice heard. We’re particularly excited to be involving children in designing the very post that will support them.”
