Our 7 Challenges are gaining momentum within the County – and in the local media – with the students setting their sights on Clay Pigeon Shooting at the County’s award-winning shooting ground.
Recently presented with the award for Best Shooting Ground in the West Midlands from Clay Shooting Magazine the team at Park Farm are supporting their local good cause with the students’ 4th of 7 Challenges. On 4 February, Park Farm Shoot will host the special event for Business Students from the University of Worcester. In fact, the students have also received an award for the ‘Best Idea’ from Sanctuary Housing, Sponsors of the module. Proud local MP, Peter Luff, commented that :
“Funny Blood is the name of a wonderful cause that does important work for a condition that isn’t at all funny. Children with rare blood disorders need a lot of help, and that’s what Funny Blood aims to make sure they get. I’m delighted the excellent facilities at Park Farm are being used for such an important cause. I hope everyone has a great time and many more people are helped to understand what Funny Blood does.”
