All money raised goes to the Haemophilia Unit at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Funny Blood is dedicated to keeping its vision local, to directly and tangibly help children like Noah who suffer from PFDs.

As Ruby says, “The team at the Haemophilia Unit in BCH saved Noah’s life – it’s the least I can do to give something back – so let’s help them save more.”

Sarah-Jane Marsh, the Chief Executive of Birmingham Children’s Hospital, who’s always been hugely supportive of Funny Blood, confirms that “Platelet disorders are rare and can be difficult to diagnose, so the awareness raising and fundraising work of causes like Funny Blood is crucial to really making a difference for children and young people with these blood conditions.”

Anna Smith, Fundraising Manager at BCH, states “It’s wonderful to hear of all the fantastic things you have been doing to support the Haemophilia Unit – thank you so much!”
