Ruby met with the team at BCH to discuss how they can help support Funny Blood within the hospital.  Noah is treated at the Haemophilia Unit and attends the Haematology and Oncology Clinic as part of his regular and ongoing care and Funny Blood has raised funds for them in the past.  So, it seemed natural that BCH could help raise public awareness of the good cause amongst the staff and families who attend the clinics …

Wear blue for Funny Blood 22/06/2012

We hope all of our supporters will Wear blue for Funny Blood on Friday 22 June 2012 to raise awareness of Platelet Function Disorder.

The event hopes to include many local individuals, schools and businesses wearing blue to raise awareness of Platelet Function Disorder. There is an optional donation being requested from those involved and any monies raised will go to fund research into the condition – at The University of Birmingham.
